This week on New Dynamic English, Kathy interviews Richard Chen, Sandy Steele, and Denise Collins.

Richard Chen teaches math and science. He talks with Kathy about addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Sandy Steele is a college student. He talks to Kathy about his studies.
He is studying Chemistry and Physics.

Denise Collins is a receptionist at a law firm. She is blind and she is studying to be a lawyer.

Kathy: Can little children learn math?
Richard: Well, yes. I show them easy math.
Kathy: For example...
Richard: Well, for example: one plus one equals two.
I put a doll on a table... one doll.
One doll is on the table.
Then I put another doll on the table.
Two dolls.
Two dolls are now on the table.
One doll plus one doll equals two dolls.
One plus one equals two.

I want to be a physicist.

Sandy: Yes. I'm taking History and English literature.

I take messages. And I greet visitors.
Sometimes I schedule appointments.
Kathy: Anything else?
Denise: Most of my work is on the telephone.
As you know, I'm blind. I can't see.
Kathy: I know you do a wonderful job.
Denise: Well, thank you.
